11 years ago, we moved away from the hustle and bustle of Milwaukee, WI and planted ourselves in the town of Custer. My background has always involved helping others. Having been a social worker in the Health Care field for 17 years and then pursued a career in education, for the next 10, my life focus took another path…. Real Estate!

Since our arrival to South Dakota, my husband and I were also building and renting cabins in the area. We met great folks along the way, wanting to know the history, explore the hills and some wanting to even settle down in the area and make the Black Hills their home. It was during this time that I realized I wanted to help others find their perfect property so they too can enjoy all the sights, sounds and wonders that surround us here.

Beyond her work with Aspen+Pine, Andrea is deeply involved in Realtor leadership at both the state and local levels. In 2026, she assumes the Mount Rushmore Association of Realtors as President. She also currently serves as President of Southern Hills Realtors for Kids, an organization dedicated to supporting local children and families. She is an active member of the Custer Habitat for Humanity committee, helping create housing opportunities within the community she loves, and a finance committee member of the Black Hills Parks and Forest Association.

When she’s not meeting clients or volunteering, you’ll find Andrea enjoying life in the Hills—usually with a cup of coffee (or wine) in hand. A proud aunt  (& cat mom) and lifelong advocate for community, philanthropy &  connection, Andrea approaches both her business and her life with authenticity, heart, and a deep appreciation for the place she calls home.
